The challenge

One Health had a weak digital presence and inconsistent branding. The telehealth platform offered genuine value — fast, accessible doctor consultations — but its social media wasn't communicating that. The tone was too clinical, the content inconsistent, and there was no system for managing community interactions at scale.

The brief was to build it from scratch: strategy, branding, content, calendar, community management, and a growth campaign — all end-to-end.

The audience

Four distinct personas drove every content and channel decision, each requiring a different tone and type of content.

Marnie — The Time-Poor Professional
42 · New York · IT Manager

Works long hours, neglects preventive care. Needs fast, convenient doctor access with no scheduling friction.

Messaging: Speed, accessibility, time-saving health tips.
Sica — The Caring Mom
35 · New Jersey · Small Business Owner

Family-focused, values trust and safety. Needs reliable paediatric advice and reassuring content.

Messaging: Warm tone, practical tips, peace-of-mind content.
Rob — The Cost-Conscious HR Manager
28 · Pennsylvania · HR Manager

Evaluating employee benefit plans with budget awareness. Needs clear ROI and simple pricing.

Messaging: Data-driven, professional tone, value and ease.
Philip — The Reassurance-Seeking Retiree
65 · Massachusetts · Retired

Low digital confidence, anxious about doctor visits. Needs a gentle, comforting digital experience.

Messaging: Calm, friendly tone, emphasise comfort and easy video care.

💡 Competitor gap: Direct competitors leaned clinical and corporate. The opportunity was preventive wellness — warm, human content that positioned One Health as a health partner, not just a telehealth service.

💡 Key finding: Preventive and habit-based content consistently outperformed clinical or product-focused posts. The structured Community Management Playbook improved response speed and reduced inconsistency.

Key learnings

Learning 01

Emotional content travels further

Wellness posts drove the most saves and shares. Preventive health content resonated more emotionally than clinical messaging across all three platforms.

Learning 02

Each platform needs its own voice

The same message required a different format, length and tone on Instagram vs Facebook vs X. Platform adaptation is not optional — it's where consistency becomes relevance.

Learning 03

Community management is strategy

A structured playbook with response templates and escalation flows changed how quickly and consistently the brand could respond.

Learning 04

Branding consistency compounds

Cohesive templates, a consistent visual identity, and a clear brand voice built recognition across platforms faster than any single high-performing post could on its own.
